I live at:
James J. Reisert
15200 Clinton Street
Brighton, CO  80602-5667

I was born in San Jose, CA at O'Connor Hospital.

My family moved to Massachusetts in February 1974.

We moved to Colorado in May, 2007.

I graduated from Chelmsford High School in June 1982.

I graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June, 1986 with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Here's a link to my undergraduate thesis, written using LaTeX. I was sure I had kept an electronic copy, but I can't seem to find it. I do still have a hardcopy.

I am a brother of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, Xi Chapter.

I met Carol Monaco in November 1990 and we married in April 1997.

She is a marketing consultant/coach with her own company, MarketWise Insights,Inc.

Carol is a nature and travel photographer as well as a Colorado-licensed wildlife rehabilitator with her own 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Wild Once More.

She would say she's a fan of the New England Patriots, but I really think she's a fan of Tom Brady.

I have worked for the following companies:

Before graduation from college:

After graduation from college:

I started at Broadcom on Monday, April 12, 2004, and retired on Friday, April 12, 2024. I worked there for 20 years (+ 1 day)

While at Digital, I was the co-inventor of US Patent #5,012,403, and co-authored an article about the DEC 3000 AXP workstations for the Digital Technical Journal.

I occasionally contribute news to the RISKS Digest. You can see some of my posts here.

Despite moving to Colorado, I am still a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox.

I attended the 2021 MLB All Star Game and Home Run Derby at Coors Field.

I have seen Major League Baseball games at the following ballparks:

In addition, I have attended numerous Red Sox pre-season games in Ft. Myers, FL at City of Palms Park (retired), JetBlue Park and Lee County Sports Complex (spring home of the Minnesota Twins).

My home PCs run Microsoft Windows.

I'm a big fan of Dell computers as well as the Shuttle XPC desktop family.

My onramp to the Information Superhighway is provided by Comcast High-Speed Internet. We have been customers since 1997, and have experienced very few outages.
